Meet Boozer.

 

Jon finally got his Boxer he has been wanting for a looong time! :) He is seriously the cutest puppy ever! He's cute until he grows up...right? :) It's so fun to watch him learn things. He has almost mastered stairs and he's almost got jumping down! Haha.. it's hilarious to watch him jump. He jumps straight up and down instead of forward so it's more of a bound. :)

 It's so fun to watch Jon with him. I can't help but let my mind wander to how great of a dad he will be to our future kids! :)

Road Trip!

This weekend we went on a road trip! I wanted to see Arizona since i've never really ever seen it.  We made a huge loop down through Flagstaff, Sedona, Jerome and over to Prescott then to Wickenburg and up to Hoover Dam.  I wanted to see Hoover Dam SO bad but didn't get to.. hahah. We couldn't see anything driving over the bridge so we found the exit to drive down to walk across the bridge and we pass a sign that said, "security checkpoint 1 mile". Jon's response.."uh oh".  He had his dang pistols with us! Haha, needless to say, we didn't make it to the dam! :( Better luck next time!

Sedona is SO beautiful! I took a gazillion pictures!

This is the Chapel of Crosses, I think.. We hiked up the driveway to it. It was pretty but so not worth the exercise.. :)

Jerome, AZ is built on this hill.  It looked like some foreign country! It was crazy.  The rode from Jerome to Prescott was ridiculous! I don't ever get carsick but that road was so winedy and went on for so long that I was feeling so gross! :( I don't recommend it! hahah.

It was so much fun just driving and spending time with Jon for once! :) Love road trippin'!

Camping!

We finally got to go camping! :) Jon bought a camper shell and we seriously needed to test it out! We went on the Kaibab.  It was so much fun!  We stayed the first night by ourselves and the next day, some of the Mace fam came up! :) The weather was so nice, except for the rain that decided it didn't want to go away and come again another day! :) We went on dirtbike/rhino/four-wheeler rides a lot. Jodi and Joyce brought all of the food and fed us the whole time! Thank you! :) The other day, I told Jon we needed to fit another trip in before it got cold.. He said, "even if it is cold, we have the camper shell!" Uhh.... :)

yuh-tuh-hey!

Holy navajos! :) I decided I wanted to go to Page and see where Jonny used to live..just for something to do together besides sit at home! I didn't believe him when he said it was navajo central..guess I had to see it for myself! But I believe him now! :)  We went to the dam, walked across the bridge, visited the dam visitor's center, and took the dam tour! :) haha. It was pretty fun! I loved learning about the dam!

 Hahah, this was the best picture I could get of the house! It took us three drive-bys. How embarrassing! Third time is a charm, right? :) The people were probably ready to call the cops on the stalkers that kept stopping in front of their house taking pictures! :)

We ate at Strombolli's! Seriously sooo yummy! :) This is Jonny with his calzone as big as his head! :)

I love spending time with the hubs and going on little dates even if it is to Page! :)

Two months!!

We have been married for two months now! Seriously, holy cow! It's been the best two months of my life. :) I love married life! Or should I say we? Cause he better love it too! :)  We definitely enjoyed our one month together before he started working! It's been super hard going from being together every minute to being apart for days at a time.. I spent my first week by myself last week and it was the hardest thing ever! By the second day, I was begging my brothers or my mom to come over! I serioulsy get so lonely. I do have the doggies to keep me company but they don't talk.. :)

We are living in my grandparent's home while they're in Oklahoma.  So nice of them! :) We love having our own place, finally.. :)  We're loving being temporary home owners with all of the maintenance work and cleaning that comes along with it..except the grass! I'm horrible with grass apparently! Either I forget to water it or I do water it and forget and leave the water on.. hellllloooo huge water bill! (Don't worry gramps, it will be green and luscious when you come home! :))

We have adopted two pups temporarily! :) They're pretty darn cute. I'm learning how hard it is to be a parent.. seriously. I'm constantly cleaning up something they got in to, or puke, or something! Ah! I never knew how hard it was. I keep telling Jon, "no dogs ever!" or "no kids for a looooong time!"

Jon just left again for the week and i'm seriously already bored! I have already gone shopping, caught up on all of my shows, cleaned the house and gone for a lonely spin! I'm trying to be positive and just sail through the summer smoothly. :)

Viva Las Vegas!

We decided we just wanted to go somewhere easy. We just wanted to relax and that's seriously what we did! :) We stayed at the Stratosphere, which really wasn't bad and it was a really good price!

We stayed in the room a lot! I think we were both so exhausted from being so stressed- over nothing really! :) We could see the people jumping off of the tower from our window so we sat by the window and watched that a lot. We walked around the shops and the food area..they had yummy food! We ate at the pizza place the first night and those pieces of pizza were HUGE!

We went to the top of the Stratosphere a couple of times. It was pretty fun to be able to see the whole valley, but it was really freaky! One of the rides would shake the tower..yikes! :)

We went to Fremont Street one of the nights. It was cool, I have never been there before. The tv thing was awesome! :)

I have wanted to go on the zipline ever since I saw it on Sister Wives. :) I convinced Jonny we needed to go. Of course he wouldn't let me take a picture of him, though. :)

We sat and watched this guy spray paint pictures for ever! I want to learn how to do that! :)

On the way to Fremont Street, I spotted the Pawn Stars place so on the way back, we had to stop and take a picture. It was scary though! It is in this alley looking place with this ghetto tattoo parlor in the parking lot! So we hurried really fast! :)

I wish we could have stayed there forever! I want to vacation every day! :)

Welcome to OUR blog!

I decided I would make a blog for US because we are an US now! :) Oh, AND because i'm officially Jessica MACE now! I went and did all of the legal crap to get my name changed! Yay! :) The lady at the DMV informed me that I was getting a much easier last name- as if hadn't been waiting for the day! :) I will blog about the wedding..eventually! :)  I'm just waiting for some pictures.  All of you with private blogs, please invite US (jjmace36@live.com) so we can read your lovely blogs. :)
